My boyfriend had diabtes and takes insulin does that reduse the possibility of me being pregnant?

im 17 going on 18 in 9 months. my life is nothing but drama right now. All my family is christian and 5 of my uncles are pastors of a church. i’ve been raised in a christian home my whole life,i was never “allowed” to experience life. My parents are wonderful but over protective.i’ve aways had so much pressure being the “pastors niece” and it’s not easy to be “perfect” Anyways i’m a A-B student and my dreams have been to major in criminal law and attend Sam Houston State University. BUT i meet this guy and i liked him so much his dad had just passed away and he was diagnosed with diabetes after that because of the shock my parents never allowed it but i felt i couldnt be without him. We’ve been dating for 1 year and 2months so far and i think im pregnant. i cant talk to my mom about this cause she’s taking it real hard. i know i screwed up but i cant go back. what are the possibilities of me being pregnant if my boyfriend has diabetes and takes insulin? does that reduce th possibility

Bless your heart, I know what you are talking about. My father was a minister and I was raised in a Christian home but I could not go to my parents with anything. Your boyfriend’s diabetes doesn’t affect you becoming pregnant. Go get a pregnancy test and SEE if you are pregnant instead of just thinking you might be. What does the father think of this pregnancy? Have you told him anything? After you get his answer then pray and ask the Lord to give you the words and timing to tell your parents. He can work miracles and change hearts that we have no chance of doing on our own. I bet they will stand by you as any parent should and welcome that precious bundle. After that, you should make arrangements for a family. Marriage would be good if you are pregnant and a good foundation for a family. If not, you should make arrangements for moving out of your family’s house once you are on your feet after the birth. Your parents raised you and should not be raising their grandchildren.. You are responsible for the baby, not them. I am not saying there should be no contact, just don’t take them for granted and foist the baby on them to help raise unless THEY suggest it. I will be lifting you up on my prayer list and ask God to give you answers, peace and words to talk to your parents.
