The bible has made thousands of prophecies that have come true, and can be cross referenced from other written histories. Meaning when the bible said something would happen, you can read other civilizations records of it actually happening.
The bible also has countless scientific principles that were only relatively recently discovered.
The Dimensions of the Ark revolutionized ship building in the 1400's.
Mathew Maury read Psalms 8:8 and went looking for these "paths of the sea" he was reading about, and became the founder of underwater ocean currents.
The bible says that the earth is free floating in space (job 26:7). This is a fact that science has relatively recently come to conclude. It is indeed NOT sitting on the back of Atlas, or being held up by a giant animal.
The circulation of the atmosphere
Ecclesiastes 1:6 "The wind goes toward the south, And turns around to the north; The wind whirls about continually, And comes again on its circuit."
The Air has weight and there is atmospheric pressure:
Job 28:25
"To establish a weight for the wind,
And apportion the waters by measure".
The fact that air has weight was proven scientifically only about 300 years ago. The relative weights of air and water are needed for the efficient functioning of the world’s hydrologic cycle, which in turn sustains life on the earth.
How about the water cycle?:
Job 36:27-29
For He draws up drops of water,
Which distill as rain from the mist,
Which the clouds drop down
And pour abundantly on man.
Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds,
The thunder from His canopy
Also:In Genesis 17:12, God specifically directed Abraham to circumcise newborn males on the eighth day. Why the eighth day? In 1935, professor H. Dam proposed the name “vitamin K” for the factor in foods that helped prevent hemorrhaging in baby chicks. We now know vitamin K is responsible for the production (by the liver) of the element known as prothrombin. If vitamin K is deficient, there will be a prothrombin deficiency and hemorrhaging may occur. Oddly, it is only on the fifth through the seventh days of the newborn male’s life that vitamin K (produced by bacteria in the intestinal tract) is present in adequate quantities. Vitamin K, coupled with prothrombin, causes blood coagulation, which is important in any surgical procedure. Holt and McIntosh, in their classic work, Holt Pediatrics, observed that a newborn infant has “peculiar susceptibility to bleeding between the second and fifth days of life…. Hemorrhages at this time, though often inconsequential, are sometimes extensive; they may produce serious damage to internal organs, especially to the brain, and cause death from shock and exsanguination” (1953, pp. 125-126). Obviously, then, if vitamin K is not produced in sufficient quantities until days five through seven, it would be wise to postpone any surgery until some time after that. But why did God specify day eight?

On the eighth day, the amount of prothrombin present actually is elevated above one-hundred percent of normal—and is the only day in the male’s life in which this will be the case under normal conditions. If surgery is to be performed, day eight is the perfect day to do it. Vitamin K and prothrombin levels are at their peak.

Because of the disobedience of God’s creation ie man that lead to our creator cursing us for sins so to gain forgiveness the children of Isreal passed their sins onto the animal ie a sheep goat or a bull the spilling of blood or the sacrifice of an animal was not our God’s intention in the begining it was all the fault of man’s inability to be obedient to our creator that lead to the sacrificing of animals for the forgiveness of sins.

YOU ARE MISSING THE WHOLE POINT. IF God was so great, so knowing, so loving, there would not have been a need to do any of this, and on the starvation part god could have sent food like he did before before such atrocities happened. You can try and justify it all you want, but it is a sick, perverse, thing that you hold close to your heart. According to the bible your god is an ultimate sinner who justifies it with divine knowledge. You said the exact same thing I said.
