Christian Dating Dallas Texas
Today is Texas Muslims Legislative Day. Why cannot ~they~ understand that a prayer by an Imam is appropriate?
This morning, the first prayer ever by a Muslim cleric in the Texas Senate will be delivered by the Imam Yusuf Kavakci of the Dallas Central Mosque at the invitation of state Sen. Florence Shapiro, R-Plano. (Articles I have found make note that Shapiro is Jewish.) Some Christians find this to be inappropriate because it is holy week. However, the reason for the Imam leading the opening prayer is because it is the (3rd) Texas Muslims Legislative Day. Why cannot these people understand that it is appropriate for this reason?
